Travel Grant Forms
The American Society for Virology sponsors a limited number of travel awards to defray travel costs to the Annual Meeting. Applications are available to download from the links listed below and submit to the ASV Secretary-Treasurer's office at the address listed on the forms. A copy of the abstract you submitted to FASEB for the ASV 2010 annual meeting must be submitted with your application in order for it to proceed for review by the ASV Travel Award Committee members.
The deadline for submission of applications is February 1, 2010.
The following application forms are available for:
- Latin American virology scholars
- Medical virology fellows or junior faculty
- Postdoctoral fellows studying virology
- Graduate/Undergraduate students studying virology
- Teachers of undergraduate students
Graduate students, undergraduate students and postdoctoral fellows must be members of ASV or have applied for membership by February 1, 2010 in order to be eligible for these awards. Both the applicant and the ASV full member sponsor must be current (dues paid for 2010) members of ASV in order to qualify for a travel award. NOTE: All travel award applicants will be notified of the award results before the meeting by e-mail from the ASV Secretary-Treasurer's office. If you do not receive an e-mail notice regarding the results of your travel grant application submission by June 1st please inquire by email at asv@asv.org.
