Registration
Every participant or guest who attends any part of the ASV 2010 meeting or satellite functions must register for the general meeting. To register, use the registration site on the ASV 2010 conference website and use a valid credit card. Registrants will receive acknowledgement of their registration by email. Online registration is preferred.
Alternatively, for those who are unable to register online, complete the attached registration form (photocopies accepted) and mail or fax it, along with your fee payment to the ASV 2010 Conference Secretariat address indicated on the form. Registrants will receive acknowledgement of their registration by email or mail (only if no email was provided).
Visa Applications for International Scientists
Visa applications to visit Montana and attend ASV 2010 should be made early - at least 4 months before the meeting start date.
Visitors from Canada and Mexico are reminded that entry into the United States requires a valid passport.
Early Registration
To receive reduced registration fees, registration and fee payment must be completed and received by June 1, 2010. Registrations received after this date will be assessed a $75 late fee.
Upon check-in at the Registration desk in the Strand Union Building, participants will receive a name badge which must be worn at all ASV meeting and satellite symposium functions.
- Full registration includes admission to the Saturday evening ASV Welcome Reception, all ASV scientific sessions, the poster sessions, and evening socials. The fee also includes conference breakfasts (Sun-Wed), lunches (Sun-Tue), dinners (Sun-Mon) and all coffee breaks as well as drink tickets for certain social functions.
- Student registration includes all of the above.
- Guest registration allows admission to the Welcome Reception and evening socials only. Dining options are available on the MSU campus.
Optional Event Fees
- Satellite Symposium: Topic: “Viruses and Cancer ” sponsored by the Medical Virology Club will be held in conjunction with ASV 2010 on Saturday, July 17th from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Registration fee ($65 per person) is in addition to ASV 2010 Registration fees, and includes a coffee break and light buffet lunch. Scientific programs and speaker information will be available on the ASV 2010 website.
- Satellite Symposium Topic: “International Plant Virology” sponsored by the Plant Virology Club will be held in conjunction with ASV 2010 on Saturday, July 17th from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Registration fee ($65 per person) is in addition to ASV 2010 Registration fees and includes a coffee break and light buffet lunch. Scientific programs and speaker information will be available on the ASV 2010 website.
- Veterinary Virology Club Luncheon: A lunch gathering will be held on Sun July 18th at (location TBA). Tickets are $30 per person and must be purchased by July 1, 2010.
Payment of Registration Fees
Payment must be made in US dollars by credit card or International Money Order. Online registration is the preferred method of registration for the ASV 2010 meeting.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Registration cancellation requests must be made in writing and received by email or fax by the ASV Conference Secretariat no later than June 11, 2010 to qualify for partial refunds (less a $50 administrative charge). THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATION REQUESTS RECEIVED AFTER June 11, 2010. Persons who register for the meeting but cannot attend may send a substitute.
On-Site Registration
ASV 2010 on-site registration and distribution of badges and meeting materials for pre-registered participants will be in the Strand Union Building located at Grant Street and Seventh Avenue on Friday, July 16 (4 pm to 8 pm) and will continue throughout the meeting.
